It built on a hill near Turin, is a magnificent example of Baroque XVIII century. This church had once served as a mausoleum for members of the royal dynasty of Savoy. The city has one more charming place, the Royal Palace, which was built more than two centuries, was used as a royal residence from 1645 to 1865. The right wing of the palace is reserved for the royal armory, and it is one of the most impressive collections of European weapons. You can also admire one of the finest examples of Baroque XVIII century, the Palazzo Cavour. Nowadays the city has rebuilt under the hotel. On the Piazza Castello, you will find a massive building, Palazzo Madama, of the XIII century, built on the ruins of the Roman gate. Today the walls of Palazzo Madama contain an impressive collection of exhibits of the Museum of Antiquities and Fine Arts. There are also a great number of magnificent museums and galleries in the city. Museum of Antiquities and Fine Arts, located in the Palazzo Madama, presents an impressive collection of artifacts, which can trace the long history of Italy. The exposition of the museum includes a variety of relics, including a large collection of paintings, pottery, jewelry, works of glass, fabric, and prints and drawings. The city has a lot of to see and to admire and you need much time to do sightseeing. The city offers many deluxe and middle-ranged hotels with first class service and spacious rooms.
